Test Drive DashKit's Core Engines
Experience our fluid lighting scrubber, 1:1 Header Badges & Standalone Low-Battery Squircle, Hold-to-Off room cards, and Sensor-Driven Dynamic Appearance right in your browser.
0.5s Hold & Slide + Floating CW/RGB Columns
Hold any light card for half a second and slide vertically without lifting your finger. Adjustable-white bulbs present 7 floating warmth presets (`2200K`–`6500K`), while RGB bulbs add a second floating column. Notice how DashKit automatically switches text & icon contrast between Dark Charcoal and Crisp White based on bulb brightness.
Dual-Toggle Rules (Header Tag + Remote Push Bell)
Build custom rules with compound AND / OR conditions or sensor thresholds (e.g., RISES ABOVE 26°C). Each family member independently toggles the Tag icon (show in header) and Bell icon (receive remote push). Your home iPad acts as the Single Central Hub—monitoring HomeKit 24/7 and dispatching visible push alerts with your custom body text & badge icon to your iPhone worldwide, even when DashKit is closed!
Target Day, Night, Standby & Kiosk Lock via HomeKit Sensors
Every profile (Day Profile, Night Profile, Active/Standby States, Kiosk Lock, and Guest Mode) can be triggered by a schedule OR immediately by any HomeKit Accessory or Sensor (e.g., Ambient Light dropping below 40 LUX, Bedroom Light turning OFF, or a dummy switch with bidirectional Single-Switch State Following). Adjusts physical hardware display brightness with zero fake dark overlays.
0.5s Hold-to-Off Parallel Room Shutdown
Single taps are ignored so you never shut down a room by mistake. Press and hold the room telemetry badge below for half a second to turn off all active lights, ACs, and fans in Master Suite concurrently—strictly never actuating locks, gates, or shutters!
Every Detail Built For Real Life At Home
Explore the architectural details that set DashKit apart from every generic smart home app.
Up to 10 Columns & Concurrent Bar Transformation
Configure independent column counts per section—from compact iPhone grids up to 10 columns on wide iPad & Mac displays—while previewing your live canvas at 50% transparency behind the dialog. In Edit Sections Mode, the bottom navigation bar expands to reveal instant Guest-Hide and Device-Hide buttons on every tab.
Instant Guest Wi-Fi QR & Single-Switch Guest Mode
Tap the Wi-Fi button to present a crystal-clear QR code guests can scan from across the room. Engage Guest Mode (manually or via a linked HomeKit switch) to hide private rooms, mask personal calendar events into clean date blocks, and lock settings on the wall iPad—while your personal iPhone stays 100% unrestricted.
Doorbell Auto-Popup & 3 Embedded Quick Actions
When the doorbell rings, DashKit automatically presents the widescreen live video stream over a pure blur backdrop. Tap TALK to automatically unmute two-way audio, and control up to 3 embedded accessory cards (like unlocking the front door, turning on pathway lights, or disarming the alarm) right inside the camera footer without closing the video stream.
Fixed Rooms Sidebar & Thermal Telemetry
Filter by floor or zone at the top, select any room in the floating left sidebar, and scroll through categorized containers (`LIGHTING`, `CLIMATE`, `LOCKS, GATES & SHUTTERS`) on the right. Every temperature badge features a proportional thermal gradient underline.
Wave Any Empty Carton Hands-Free
Wave any item in front of your wall iPad. DashKit scans barcodes hands-free with a sweeping red laser, front-screen White Softbox illumination for dim kitchens, duplicate prevention, and long-press product renaming—synced across the family via CloudKit.
Accessory-Triggered Day, Night & Standby
Trigger Day Profile, Night Profile, Active/Standby sub-states, or Kiosk Lock by time-of-day OR immediately via any HomeKit sensor or switch (Lux thresholds, motion, bedroom lights, or single-switch state following). Includes 32 wallpapers with live preview, deferred switching while in use, and 6 Standby Clock styles.
6 Weather & Calendar Styles + Music
Customize your canvas with 6 artistic Weather styles (comparing outdoor forecast vs. indoor HomeKit average), 6 Calendar styles dynamically colored by your next event, a persistent Apple Music & Spotify mini-player with AirPlay routing, and a built-in Apple TV D-Pad Remote.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do Smart Badges and remote Push Notifications work together? +
Every rule you create under Settings → Smart Badges & Notifications has two independent local toggles per device: a Tag toggle (to show the colored badge pill in the top header bar) and a Bell toggle (to receive native push notifications). By designating one always-on home iPad or Mac as your DashKit Central Hub, it monitors HomeKit 24/7 and dispatches visible push notifications—complete with your custom body text and rendered badge icon—to your iPhone anywhere in the world, even when DashKit is closed on your phone.
Can Day/Night Appearance, Standby, and Kiosk Lock be triggered by HomeKit sensors or switches? +
Yes. Under Settings → Dynamic Appearance, Day Profile, Night Profile, Active/Standby sub-states, Kiosk Lock Mode, and Guest Mode can each be triggered by a scheduled time OR immediately by any HomeKit accessory or sensor state (including numeric thresholds for Lux light sensors, temperature sensors, or single-switch state following). When triggered by an accessory or sensor, the profile switches immediately; when triggered by a time schedule while you are actively touching the screen, DashKit intelligently defers the switch until the device goes idle.
Does TwentyTwo collect my HomeKit data, camera feeds, or personal calendars? +
Never. DashKit is built on a strict 100% Zero-Server privacy architecture. All HomeKit communication, live camera streams, barcode scanning, calendars, and grocery catalogs stay exclusively on your devices and inside your personal Apple iCloud/CloudKit account.
If I customize the grid or column count on my iPhone, will it alter our wall iPad? +
No. While household intelligence (Smart Badge rules, master room/zone order, Guest Wi-Fi QR, and your household grocery barcode catalog) syncs globally via iCloud, each device's Home layout, Custom Sections, column density (from 2 up to 10 columns), wallpapers, and Day/Night standby profiles are stored 100% locally on that physical device.
What happens if I hide the Settings button on my wall iPad? How do I get back in? +
When the bottom-right Settings button is hidden for an ultra-clean kiosk bar, simply press and hold (for 0.5 seconds) directly on the Home Name or Section Title in the top-left header bar to open the PIN prompt and Pre-Settings menu.
